NRA Range Safety Officer

SUBJECTS COVERED: This course develops NRA Certified Range Safety Officers with the knowledge, skills, and attitude essential to organizing, conducting and supervising safe shooting activities and range operations. 

Range Safety Officer candidates will learns roles and responsibilities of an RSO - Range Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) - range inspection - range rules - range briefings - emergency procedures - and firearm stoppages and malfunctions.

Each Range Safety Officer Candidate will receive an RSO Student Study Guide, a Basic Firearm Training Program brochure, an NRA Gun Safety Rules brochure and a Course Evaluation Form. 

This course is instructed by an NRA Certified Instructor who has approximately 10 years experience working as a Range Safety Officer and will share valuable insights.

Course length: Approximately 10 hours.

You are welcome to bring your own legally owned firearm to class.

ALL FIREARMS MUST BE CASED OR HOLSTERED AND UNLOADED. ABSOLUTELY NO LIVE AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM.

What happens if I need to cancel?

We  must order Course materials and make rental commitments weeks prior to  each class. We realize that other things do come up in life. With 24  hours notice either by calling 570-245-1975 or emailing, we will Credit your deposit one time to the same course on another date  or in the event of full payment, refund your payment less the deposit  portion.

Of course, should we have to cancel, full refunds will be given.
